The Senior Engineer – Business Applications, ERP & Digital Compliance leads the establishment of all business application systems in the company, with first priority on the implementation of an ERP system that also satisfies the Computer-Based Inventory Information System (IT Inventory) obligation — a mandatory condition for obtaining and retaining the fiscal and customs facilities of the Special Economic Zone, as required by PMK 237/PMK.010/2020 as amended by PMK 33/PMK.010/2021 Article 78 and PER-24/BC/2023. The role translates the business processes of Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, Project Control and Human Resources into integrated and auditable systems that can be inspected by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise and the Directorate General of Taxes. Also owns the project electronic document management system supporting the FEED and EPCC deliverable and transmittal volumes, together with master data governance and management reporting. This is a founding position in the BEC IT function and is expected to grow into leadership of the business systems function in the subsequent project phases.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Map the company’s business processes and prepare the ERP blueprint covering Finance and Accounting, Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse, Fixed Assets, Project Cost Control and Human Resources.
  • Prepare requirements, tender documents and evaluation criteria, and lead the selection of the ERP vendor or system integrator, including total cost of ownership, phased roadmap and business case for management approval.
  • Act as owner project manager for the ERP implementation: manage the integrator, schedule, user acceptance testing, data migration, chart of accounts and master data, cut-over, user training and post go-live support.
  • Design and implement IT Inventory as an inseparable subsystem of the accounting information system, targeting the highest integration category recognised by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise.
  • Ensure the system meets the prescribed criteria: recording of goods inward, goods outward, work in process, adjustments and stock balances; continuous and real-time operation; user audit trail; tiered authorised access; traceability of goods position; and linkage to the type, registration number and date of the customs declaration.
  • Provide online inspection access for the customs and tax authorities and produce the mandatory reports, covering goods inward and goods outward per customs document, goods position and work in process, and the movement accountability report including capital goods.

Persyaratan

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or Accounting with an information systems specialisation, or a relevant discipline.
  • ≥ 6 years of proven experience in ERP implementation or support — SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, IFS or equivalent — including at least one full implementation cycle from blueprint through go-live to post go-live support.
  • Strong command of at least two core modules among Finance and Accounting, Procurement, and Inventory and Warehouse.
  • Knowledge of Indonesian customs processes and of the IT Inventory obligations attached to customs facilities in a bonded zone, bonded logistics centre, import facility for export purposes or special economic zone, including the mandatory reports and system integration
  • Preferred having direct experience preparing or auditing an IT Inventory system and supporting the determination process with the Customs Office.
  • Preferred having experience in the process manufacturing, petrochemical, mining or greenfield EPC sector.
